It's official.......8 weeks and counting.....

The temperature has finally hit double figures, flowers are poking their heads through the ground, the E17 designers spring market is on its way so what more could you ask for to get you in the mood for spring.

Make sure to put it in your diaries and keep checking to see updates of creative spring items from the E17 designers.

East London Vintage and Ethical Fashion Events

We have some more upcoming not to miss events in Walthamstow and Highams Park.

The first is the Ethical Fashion Show on Thursday at 7pm featuring work from the E17 Designers very own "Queenie and Ted" who will be showing and selling their unique customised clothes and accessories. Make sure you get ready for spring with their one-off, "up-cycled" jackets, bags and jewellery!

Tickets for the Ethical Fashion Show at the William Morris Gallery are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Gallery on 020 8496 4390. The Ethical Fashion Show will raise funds in support of the William Morris Gallery Development Project.

The other exciting event is the Vintage 'n' Retro Tea Party at Highams Park this Saturday where you can also catch up with some of the E17 Designers.

Introducing Katie Birdie....

Katie Birdie loves colour, pattern and buttons which can be found in abundance in her beautiful and bold work.

Her area of specialism is textiles so she creates anything and everything there is to make out of textiles including bags, purses, bangles, brooches, cushions, decorations & scarves.
Her favourite place in Walthamstow is the dog track building which she loves.
We can't wait to see what she's created next.
