Interested in joining the E17 Designers?

E17 Designers are a community group of designers, makers and artists who live or work in the area. There is no strict selection procedure or membership this year.

Events are filled on a first come first served list, based on the size of venue and number of tables-we will probably charge £25 per table (the same price we have managed for some time) which we hope will cover cost of hall hire, our own posters and flyers, and drinks.

Priority is given to previous exhibitors each time to encourage the community feeling, but as everyone does not participate in each event there are often tables that become open to a reserves list (showcase designers).

All exhibitors are expected to collect posters and flyers that are part of the fee they pay, and then distribute them amongst all their contacts and local shops, libraries, doctors, schools and workplaces-this is the best way of attracting people to come to the events, purchase products and keep money in the borough...an email flyer can also be sent out to e-contacts too.

Brief: to engender a well designed and crafted feel to all products they should be hand made, mended with love or designed and produced by each maker-products so far range from original prints and cards to vintage fabric bags to restored clothing and furniture to hand screen printed tee shirts and illustrators magazines, or simple bead, button or silver jewellery....but also we endeavour to cluster together designers who in addition make small affordable pieces of work that even £1 can pay for....

Therefore please email carolyn@carolynabbott.co.uk with one low res and one high res image if you are interested and live/work in the area.
