Big thanks...

once again to everyone who came along to the E17 Designers market at the Asian Centre as part of the E17 Art Trail. The sun shined on our parade and from the lovely comments below we gather you all enjoyed yourselves too....

"everyone so pleasant helpful-lovely"
"love the fairs"
"always enjoy the market"
"usual top quality - still fresh and unusual"

Upcoming dates for your diaries for our Christmas markets are:
Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December
(remember pay £2 on Friday and keep your ticket to get in for half price on Saturday!).

For those of you who missed us here's a sneaky peek of our handmade wares to tempt you along to our next market....

The E17 Art Trail grows every year and this year was no exception with art work literally bursting from many venues. Here's a few pictures from various events to show off the artistic and creative talents from the residents of Walthamstow.

p.s. a big thank you to Nicola Tree for all of the great images!

Art Trail update and another date for the diary.....

A brilliant Indian summer day brought what seemed like most of E17 to the Market on Sunday 12th September, as well as many other E postcodes (plus a Wimbledon one……..)

The E17 Art Trail guide allowed so many visitors to work their way around the trail and then take part in our event during the afternoon (tea and cakes in the “yard”, and thirty designers to chat to); the light vibe of the Rose and Crown Singers gently serenaded us with “Scarborough Fair” and many other favourites. It all added up to a lovely day which we hope inspired many and made people realise the enormous talent that the borough has to offer. See you next time!

Latest news:
Having just completed a 2-year saddlery course at the only full-time UK course in the UK (Capel Manor College in Enfield), Mia has recently been awarded a QEST (Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust) award to fund further studies. Out of 159 people, Mia was one of 8 chosen - awarded £6,200 to fund her last 3 saddlery exams to make her fully qualified, plus an upholstery course which she has just completed, a leather restoration course, leather sewing machine skills and framed bag making course. These will all help increase her range of products, as well as becoming a Qualified Saddler and Harness Maker. Press releases from QEST will be coming out shortly, so you may see her in the national press and will shortly be appearing on their website - www.qest.org.uk

A temporary facebook Page is available now which is updated with latest products (please join), and her own website should be ready for the middle of September.
