Quick thanks....

to everyone who turned up on Friday night to support the E17 Designers. We also want to say a big thanks to The Stowicks for supplying great music on the night.

In the first hour 146 people came, who had never been to an E17
Designers event before.

We had some great comments from visitors:

I could just about get to some of the stalls to show you more of the great work being produced and the cakes had almost run out by the time I got there but here's some pics to show you what you missed out on…

until the first E17 Designers event of the year. So make sure to put it in your diary as it will be filled with lots of new spring and summer goodies.

Up and coming events......

Looks like May is going to be jam packed with events starting off with the E17 Designers spring market on Friday 13th at the Asian Centre, but don't let the date put you off as there's even great music being supplied on the night from the Stowicks!




Then on Saturday 14th May it's Poetry at the Waltham Forest Literature Festival...



Then the following week end is the Book-ish event, a fair of artists' prints, books, cards and stationery. Taking place at Leytonstone Library on Saturday 21st May, 12-4pm.

It's official the E17 Designers' Spring Market has been booked for Friday 13th May so make sure to pop along and feast on an abundance of new and brightly coloured spring and summer items. We've also got The Stowicks on the night, our local ceilidh band.

Friday 14th May at the Asian Centre from 7pm-10pm
£1 entry gives you a free drink and a raffle ticket for numerous goodie bags!

It's just over 3 weeks til the E17 Spring Market and with the sun shining it looks like spring is in full swing.

The Bee's Knees will be featuring their hairbands and handbags, which are up-cycled using fused and manipulated plastics and fabric and croched flowers.

It's official.......8 weeks and counting.....

The temperature has finally hit double figures, flowers are poking their heads through the ground, the E17 designers spring market is on its way so what more could you ask for to get you in the mood for spring.
