The E17 Designers are continually growing and new designers are often seen at the markets. A few new faces include Sarah Hawkins and Katie Gammie of Gammie Bags.
Sarah Hawkins, a local photographer, was specialising in 'Photograms', images created by placing objects, found in her garden, onto photographic paper and exposing it to light. This means that each one is unique, never to be created in the same way twice. An exhibition of these works was also displayed as part of the Leytonstone Art Trail and at the Changing Rooms Gallery in Lloyd Park.
Katie Gammie of Gammie Bags was selling a great little array of cushions and bangles as well as her trademark bags. Newly graduated, she is currently working on her own designs for fabric which she then hopes to turn into her crafty creations.
So as well as familiar faces at the designer markets you will often see new and other inspirational stalls propping up.
